Dr. William A. Carter received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1976. He completed a family practice residency at Lancaster General Hospital in 1979. Since that time, he has been involved with several private practices as well as academic institutions in Lancaster, Dauphin and York Counties. Beginning in 1999, he developed a strong interest in outpatient aesthetics treatments as a means to improve people’s self-esteem. Throughout that time, he has had extensive training in the field of outpatient aesthetics and has been awarded certifications in laser treatments, all types of injectables, and many other skin-effecting energy modalities.

Taylor is an expert aesthetic injector with over 11 years of experience, known for delivering natural, elevated results that enhance—not change—your features. She has attended numerous aesthetics conferences and completed advanced trainings that allow her to specialize in advanced Botox, filler, and collagen-stimulating treatments.

Her approach is highly personalized, focusing on facial harmonization, anti-aging, and subtle enhancements that leave patients looking refreshed, confident, and effortlessly beautiful. Taylor believes that no two faces are the same, which is why every treatment plan is thoughtfully customized to align with each patient’s unique goals.

Registered Nurse, BSN, and expert injector with over five years of experience in medical aesthetics. She began her aesthetics career with extensive, hands-on, physician-led training and has since built on that foundation through dozens of advanced one-on-one trainings, masterclasses, and industry conferences with leading experts in the field, focusing on dermal fillers, biostimulatory treatments, and advanced neurotoxin techniques, continuously evolving her skills to an expert level.

Her approach is rooted in precision, artistry, and personalization, never one size fits all. She is passionate about helping patients age naturally and confidently, while building meaningful relationships and delivering consistently beautiful, natural results.

Vicki is an aesthetic nurse injector and licensed esthetician. She also works as an RN in the Emergency Department at UPMC Harrisburg. Vicki started her aesthetics career at a dermatology office in 2010 where she worked with Dr. Carter. She credits all the good mentors she had along the way that educated and trained her and helped her fulfill her aesthetics passion. Vicki graduated from PA College of Health Sciences and DeRielle Cosmetology Academy. She has received numerous certifications in lasers, microneedling, neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and in a variety of skin care treatments. Vicki enjoys helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals, from skin care treatments to injectables, so they can feel more confident in themselves.

Ashtyn is an Aesthetic Registered Nurse with over 7 years of nursing experience, including Neonatal ICU and 3 years specializing in medical aesthetics. Her strong clinical foundation, attention to detail, and gentle approach set her apart in the treatment room.

Ashtyn has advanced training in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, microneedling, IV therapy, and ATTIVA. She is known for creating customized treatment plans that enhance natural beauty while preserving each client’s unique features.

With a keen eye for facial harmony and a commitment to safety, Ashtyn focuses on subtle, balanced results that leave patients looking refreshed, and never overdone. Her goal is simple: to help every client feel confident, empowered, and radiant in their own skin.

Emma earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and began her career as a Surgical/Trauma ICU nurse at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in 2019. While building a strong foundation in critical care and earning advanced certifications, she pursued her passion for aesthetics and became a nurse injector in 2021. Emma continues to practice in both specialties and is grateful for the diverse opportunities nursing has provided her.

Emma is known for her genuine, patient-centered approach with a strong emphasis on honesty, integrity, and natural-looking results. She is passionate about helping patients feel confident, empowered, and comfortable in their own skin.

She continues to advance her expertise at Carter MD Aesthetics while maintaining multiple critical care certifications and actively pursuing ongoing education. Her goal is to deliver results that enhance each patient’s natural features while preserving authenticity.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and her French bulldog.

Zachary Hill is a Licensed Medical Esthetician and Laser Technician that joined CMDA in 2021. His interest and dedication to beauty and self-care led him to quickly advance his knowledge and skills in skincare. Working alongside an experienced and leading aesthetic physician and using the latest techniques and equipment have given him the knowledge and experience to exceed each client’s needs. Zac pursued his aesthetic education at Lancaster School Of Cosmetology And Therapeutic Bodywork after completing multiple classes and certifications to become a laser technician.

Zac’s goal is to use his knowledge in medical grade skin care products and techniques to create comprehensive skin care regimens and treatments for his patients making them feel confident in their own skin.

Sonya is a native New Yorker who started with Carter MD Aesthetics in 2011 as an Administrative Assistant. Over the years, Sonya’s position has grown into a leadership role as Practice Manager. Sonya is often described as a patient advocate as her genuine personality is adored by patients and staff. In her free time, she enjoys time with her family, traveling, her dogs, design and cooking. Sonya feels passionately about breast cancer awareness as she is a breast cancer survivor.

Kristen is a Lancaster native who loves dogs, travel and the beach. She has been with Carter MD Aesthetics since 2012 and is know best for her contagiously friendly and warm personality. She goes out of her way to give our patients a very personalized and comfortable experience.

Wendi joined the practice in 2019 after being a patient for years. She is a graduate of Duke University and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
